6am Liftlines

Hi kids! Bruce here. Just wanted to give you the latest on our trip. On Friday we arrived in Kyoto and went to the Crossroads Chapel that is held at Kyoto International University. Moni shared her testimony and we had a great time hanging out with everyone. At 10pm we loaded our gear and went to get on the night bus bound for Washitagate Ski Area. By 4am we had arrived and by 5am we were getting our lift tickets. Lets say we were not fully rested! The lifts were actually running by 6am, its crazy! We did a couple hours of lessons before 9am had rolled around. This was not your average day at a Ski Resort for us. We had a great time with the group from Kyoto, there was approx 18 in total, and a few that were non-christians.
This morning we had church and then curry for lunch afterwards. Tonight is a youth service and Jesse will be sharing his testimony.
Thanks for the prayers!

I believe the everything went so well and I am very blessed through them. Moni and Jesse’s testimony were so great. I heard many good comments about it. Oh, I can’t write all blessings through them.

It was really a blessing to met the folks from Canada (Bruce, Michelle, Jesse, & Travis) and Moni from Switzerland. And we even got to met up with Kirsty again too which was great.

Jesse was my instructor Saturday morning. It was my first time boarding so I really appreciated his patience and servant’s heart.

Off the slopes, we heard Jesse’s and Moni’s testimonies this weekend and they were both really encouraging. It started some good discussions with the folks who heard them.

    Praise God.
